Rolls Royce Cullinan

With the luxury SUV market heating up with competition, we were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to enjoy perhaps the pinnacle of luxury off-road vehicles for an entire day, the Rolls Royce Cullinan.

Our initial impressions were quickly forged by the simply enormous size of the thing, standing at 5.3m long at the same length as the Phantom 8 its got the biggest road presence of anything we have experienced so far which is great if you like being noticed as you wallow around town in splendour. If you’re one that likes to be noticed, this is definitely the car for you.

Despite the rather fitting 6.75 litre V12 under the hood, the ride during acceleration is sublime, which is in fitting with the expectation of feeling like you’re riding on a magic carpet when you enter any of the Rolls Royce line. The comfort is added to by full body massage chairs (effectively sofas) which have the ability to be heated to make you feel like a christmas sausage wrapped in a warm duvet of bacon.

With all it’s comfort and insane amenities such as the champagne fridge and built in tv system we think this is the ultimate road trip machine. If of course you have a spare £350,000 and by chance you enjoy the light 14 hour cruise from London to Monte Carlo for the occasional weekend getaway, then this is the car for you!
